📍 Arriving at Spawn

You’ll first appear at Spawn, a safe and central area where you can catch your breath before diving into the wild. From here, you can access two key worlds — each designed with survival in mind. Take a look around, meet other players, and when you’re ready to begin, head toward the main portal.

🦇 Meet your personal taxi, Rudy

Near the portal at spawn, you’ll spot Rudy, a bat NPC — it’s your guide to the world beyond. Interact with the bat to choose between two survival-focused worlds:

🌲 Resource World

• Think of it as: Your mining and gathering zone.

• What you can do: Chop trees, mine caves, hunt mobs, and gather all the essentials.

• What you can't do: Build or settle here — this world resets regularly to keep it fresh and fair.

• Perfect for: Stocking up on stone, coal, iron, and food without scarring the Survival World.

• Think of it as: The real adventure.

• What you can do: Build a house, explore caves, start a farm, and survive the night — all the good stuff.

• What you should know: This is where your long-term progress lives. Build carefully, protect your base, and respect your neighbors.
  
  

🧭 What Should You Do First?

Classic Minecraft survival starts with the basics:

1. Hop into the Resource World to gather wood, stone, and early tools.

2. Once you're geared up, head to the Survival World and find a place to settle. Check out the claiming section on how to secure your builds.

3. Start a shelter, light some torches, and prepare for the first night — mobs don’t pull punches!

🔥 Pro Tip: Torches, food, and a basic shelter go a long way. Don’t forget to craft a bed when you can — spawn points matter!

🔄 Travel Between Worlds

You can always return to Spawn and interact with Rudy the Bat again to switch worlds. Gather in one, build in the other — it’s a rhythm that keeps your world clean and your projects thriving.

Welcome to the Adventure Worlds — a dangerous but rewarding part of the MineValley experience. Here, survival meets challenge as you battle custom mobs, earn rare loot, and rise through the ranks of adventurers. But it does not stop there, as PvP is enabled within each Adventure World.

If you're looking for something beyond mining and building, this is where the real action begins. 

⚔️ What Are Adventure Worlds?

Adventure Worlds are special areas filled with custom-designed mobs, dangerous terrain, and high-risk combat. These aren't your typical zombies and skeletons — each mob has been tailored to be more challenging, and more rewarding.

As you defeat these mobs, you’ll earn Adventure Points. Collect enough, and you’ll be rewarded with an Adventure Chest — a loot crate packed with valuable and unique items.

💡 Tip: The stronger the mob, the more Adventure Points you earn.

🛡️ PvP Enabled

In all Adventure Worlds, PvP is turned ON. This means you’ll not only be fighting mobs — you may also encounter other players looking to claim your loot. Travel prepared, watch your back, and decide whether you want to team up… or take the loot for yourself.

🛡️ Tip: Bring friends or form temporary alliances — but trust no one.

🔓 Unlocking Adventure Worlds

Adventure Worlds aren’t all available right away — you’ll unlock new worlds by leveling up with the /levelup command. As you progress, tougher realms become accessible, offering stronger enemies and better rewards.

Each Adventure World also has item restrictions to ensure balanced gameplay. You’ll need to gear up with the correct tier of armor and tools to enter:

Trying to enter a world without the required gear? You’ll be blocked — so make sure you’re properly equipped and ready before heading in.

🎁 Custom Loot

One of the biggest reasons to venture into the Adventure Worlds is the exclusive custom loot. From powerful gear and rare crafting materials to unique utility tools — each Adventure Chest has a chance to reward you with something special. These items are not just stronger — they’re designed to feel rewarding, collectible, and sometimes even game-changing.

Below is a layout of the custom loot you can discover. This list will grow over time as new items are introduced through updates and events:

👹 Boss Spawns

Throughout the Adventure Worlds, powerful bosses occasionally emerge — bringing with them danger, chaos, and some of the best loot in MineValley. These bosses are not your average mobs. They have unique abilities, increased health, and often require teamwork (or serious preparation) to defeat. Bosses drop Boss-tier loot (🔴 Boss rarity), including exclusive items that can’t be found anywhere else. To find out when the next boss spawn will happen, do /bosstimer in-game.

🛑 Warning: When a boss spawns, PvP is usually intensified around the area — expect other players to show up for the rewards.

🎉 Regular Events

Adventure Worlds regularly feature dynamic server-wide events to keep the experience fresh and exciting. These include tournaments, envoys, boss spawns, and a variety of custom events that bring new challenges and rewards.

Events are announced in-game and on Discord — so stay alert and be ready when they drop!

Personalize your gameplay and stand out in MineValley with a wide range of cosmetics! These are purely visual upgrades that let you show off your style, flex your progression, or just have fun while exploring and battling. Use /cosmetics in-game to manage and equip your unlocked items.

🛒 How to Unlock Cosmetics

Cosmetics can be obtained through various methods:

MineValley features a wide range of custom crafting recipes that go far beyond vanilla Minecraft. From powerful gear and unique items to special materials used in other systems — crafting plays a big role in your journey. Many of the most valuable items on the server, including armor sets, weapons, spawners, and even other custom items, are only obtainable through these custom recipes.

When you are in-game, do /crafting. This opens a visual crafting interface, where recipes are sorted by category for easy browsing.

Additionally, to unlock the ability to purchase higher-tier enchantment gem rarities, you’ll need to level up through the /levelup system. As you progress through your levels, you'll gain access to more powerful and rarer gems in Zerith's shop.

🔁 Useless Gems? Visit the Tinkerer

⚙️ Bolvar, the Tinkerer, is the go-to NPC for all your unwanted or duplicate enchantment gems. If you find yourself with gems that you don't need or are unable to use, Bolvar can help convert them into something more useful.

• Break down gems into Arcane Bundles, which can be used in other enchant processes

• Receive XP or rare components in return (depending on rarity)

• Clear inventory clutter and get value from every gem

Want to upgrade or merge enchantments? 💥 Visit Cyndral, the Alchemist.

• Combine two of the same enchant gem to upgrade its level

• Use Arcane Bundles or XP as a catalyst for fusion

🧰 Miscellaneous Enchant Items

Throughout your enchanting journey, you’ll encounter unique items that offer boosts, protection, and helpful mechanics:

• Arcane Bundle: A mysterious bundle that might contain a Lucky Orb that decreases the breaking chance of your enchantment gem.

• Abandon Stone: A useless stone, ready to be thrown away.

• Lucky Orb: Apply to an enchantment gem to reduce the break chance by a random percentage.

• Totem of Renewal: Apply to an enchantment gem to re-roll the break chance.

• Rune of Extraction: Apply to an item to remove a random enchantment and convert it into a gem with a random break chance.

• Rune of Revelation: Organizes enchants by rarity on the item and adds the enchantment counter after the item name.

• Rune of Soulbound: A legendary reward that can be applied to any armor, tool, or weapon to give it a 100% chance of not being lost on death.

Hype — MineValley’s custom progression booster system designed to reward active players just for playing the game. Whether you're exploring, leveling, voting, or helping others, almost everything you do generates Hype — and the more hype you build, the better the rewards.

Think of Hype as a momentum meter: the more active and helpful you are, the more it fills. But be careful — dying or going offline for too long will reduce your hype level! Check out /hype in-game to find out what your hype level is. 

📈 How to Gain Hype

You can earn Hype through a wide variety of activities across the server. Here are some of the main ways to increase your Hype level:

Inside the Hype Zone, you'll find a mix of entertainment, interactables, and bonus rewards designed to make your Hype journey even more exciting:

The LevelUp system in MineValley is one of the core progression mechanics on the server. It rewards active and skilled players with unlocks, perks, and access to new content — including entire Adventure Worlds.

By investing in your level, you're not just showing off — you're unlocking more of what the server has to offer.

🧠 How Does It Work?

To level up, you’ll need to meet two requirements:

• 💰 Pay in-game money

• 🛠️ Reach a minimum Skill Tier (your overall progression in skills)

Use the /levelup command to open the menu and see your current level, requirements for the next level, and available rewards. Skill Tiers are based on your progress in various in-game skills. Keep grinding those tools and abilities!

🎁 LevelUp Rewards

Each level gives increasingly valuable rewards and unlocks. Here’s what leveling up can grant you access to:

From personal Clue Scrolls, to massive Community Quests, and intense Tournaments, there’s always something happening to keep you engaged and rewarded.

Whether you're logging in for a few minutes or planning a grind session, there’s always a challenge waiting — and valuable loot to claim.

🤝 Community Quests

Every week, MineValley hosts a Community Quest — a server-wide challenge where all players work together to achieve a shared goal.

🗓️ Active from Friday to Wednesday

Objectives may include:

• Mining a global amount of ores

• Defeating a target number of mobs

• Gathering specific materials

• Running dungeons or boss fights

When the goal is met, everyone receives rewards — and the top contributors will earn bonus rewards for their efforts!

Track progress and leaderboard stats in /quests or through the bossbar.

🏁 Tournaments

From time to time, Tournaments will be announced — spontaneous or multi-day competitions where players must either:

• Complete a certain objective as quickly as possible, or

• Complete an objective as much as possible within the event time

These events are varied and can include mining contests, mob kill challenges, chest opening races, and more. Keep an eye out in discord and at spawn for the next active tournament.

📜 Clue Scrolls (Quests)

Clue Scrolls are your daily and weekly mission system in MineValley, designed to reward active and engaged players.

There are two types of clue scrolls:

• 🕐 Daily Scrolls – Complete 7 tasks within 24 hours

• 📅 Weekly Scrolls – Complete 7 tasks within 7 days

Tasks vary from mining, combat, crafting, to exploring — encouraging you to engage with all areas of the server.

Claim your scrolls with /quests and check out the tasks you have to complete by hovering over the scrolls.
